One of the five sizes that Art Squares are available
 in are ATC's which measure 2 1/2 x 3 1/2.

They are a great size to use on the front of a
greeting card or to create stand-alone art such as a
mini mixed media piece or a magnet.
Once again the sturdiness of these Art Squares was a big advantage.  The firmness allowed many layers to be added to the surface.

This vision for this piece was all unplanned.  Once pieces of book text were Mod Podged to the front, random swatches of acrylic paint were swooshed across the piece with my fingertip.  A few colorful dots (Pointille by Penny Black) were stamped here and there before swirls from Penny Black's All is Bright were stamped in Jet Black StazOn.  White gesso was then loosely painted in the swirls with a paintbrush.

To finish, an altered paper flower and an antique button were transformed into a glitzy embellishment.  The banner greeting was created from Penny Black's Creative Dies - Tagged and stamped with a sentiment from A Bunch.
