Welcome, to the Studio! I'm excited to be participating in a fun blog hop today...needless to say I'm "out and about" hopping, too!
The range of papers by DCWV were textural heaven and a
lovely match for my Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft mediums!
I stamped my image (Penny Black 40-276 Botanical Notes) onto
the DCWV Adhesive Fabric Paper using a
Black Stamper’s Big Brush Pen. Next I
colored in my image using Art GRIP® Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils. I added a generous amount of water to blend,
allowing some of the color to bleed onto the background areas of the image.
To intensify the color even more, while the fabric paper was
still wet, I mix and matched my mediums and added in some color using Stamper’s
Big Brush Pens. Finally, I removed the
adhesive backing sheet and placed the fabric onto a piece of white cardstock,
adding in a few wrinkles for extra texture.
I layered this piece onto a piece of paper from the DCWV Corrugate
Neutral Stack. Finally, I layered this
onto a piece of white DCWV Woven Paper and a white notecard.
There are some great prizes along this hop, too, my friends! Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft and DCWV will be giving
away $75 in product at the end of the hop.
To win, follow the list below and leave a comment. The hop will end at 5PM EST on Friday, March
28th. The winner will be
announced on Monday, March 31st on each of the company’s blogs. For extra entries, follow Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft
and DCWV on twitter!
