It's always a treat to be...
...playing along with CASE Study and this month it is extra special as it is CASE Study's 4th Anniversary! CASE Study is celebrating their 4th year of existence with a month of inspirational Blog Hops featuring past Muses and former & current Design Team members.
The theme is inspiration. The inspiration I've chosen is none other than my talented friend, and Studio pARTner, Elizabeth Allan. I just love the layout of this card of hers:

Details available HERE. |
To create my card, I started with the center panel by stamping Penny Black 30-230 Sunny Hello in Spiced Chai StazOn ink. I then painted the panel with watercolors--using a variety of mediums including Memento ink pads, Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Art Grip Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils, and Distress Markers. Once dry, I stamped the background with Penny Black 1369L Postcard and 30-238 Footnotes using Memento Toffee Crunch Ink. The larger yellow background was inked with a combination of Memento inks (Morocco, Peanut Brittle, Toffee Crunch, Espresso Truffle) and Ranger Archival ink (Saffron). Finally, I added the polka dots using a Penny Black stencil, 25-007 Dotlets, pressing myToffee Crunch Memento Luxe ink pad over the stencil. I also added a touch of gesso to the sides of this panel, swiping it on with my fingertip. (Sentiment, "enjoy," by Penny Black, Creative Die 51-038 Hooray.)
