CASE Study #197 with Jill

It's CASE Study time so I'm...
...sharing my take on this week's inspiration by our muse, Pamela Ho.
Isn't her card fun? I was especially inspired by her pop of orange color on the bottom right hand corner combined with a grey/neutral background.  Here's my take:
Instead of circles, I stamped my background using flowers (Penny Black 40-238 Floral Tapestry).  I colored my flowers using Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Art Grip Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils, using orange and green for my focal point flower and grey (yes, grey!) for the other flowers. I flicked a bit of black watercolor paint onto the background as well.  I finished things off with a simple sentiment by Penny Black, white cardstock, and May Arts Twine.

And if you've found your way to the STUDIO for the first time today from the Case Study blog, I want to extend to you a BIG welcome!!  While here, feel free to poke around... you'll find stamped art from myself and my STUDIO partner, Elizabeth Allan.   You can read more about our blogging approach HERE.  I hope you'll find our creative zone to be an inspirational and fun place to be!
